Wow! What an amazing weekend we had. I had an incredible opportunity to once again serve on the judging panel for our provincial professional photographers’ association. The images submitted as a whole are the best I have witnessed to date – we have amazing, talented imagemakers in Alberta. Both Aleysha and I scored very well in the competition with all 8 of our images being selected for the exhibition.
Just in case you are wondering;) judges may submit work, but we do not score our own images.
I had 2 of my images earn a Merit score (the second highest honour). Aleysha had her image ‘Chrysalis’ earn a Merit and won the Best Fine Art Image.
Both Aleysha and I are also fired up to use what we learned from workshops delivered by international educators.
No shortage of energy this week in the studio. Woohoo!!!
