my family, sweet little baby feet, an eye-locking-nobody-else-matters connection between 2 people, hearty belly laughs, early morning snuggles, chocolate - the darker the better, the coziness of a campfire, sticky hugs & kisses...

I was really excited to hear about this couple coming in to the studio with their new addition. The little miss and i had a great time with a few giggles. Like most newborns they are unpredictable and i was really happy that she was not a baby boy. Thanks again guys for sharing your little one with me.

So it seems that I am a bad blogger. How could have I not blogged about this adorable family and even the little guy’s dinosaur. If you look really hard you can see the dino beside the little guy in all the photos. I am not sure if I have told you how much I love this age. Even big sister was in on the act. Whatever makes little guy smile.

Who knew an 11 day old little girl had it in her to be such a diva. Baby Ellis has informed me (loudly) that she does not like being taken out of her comfort zone. But after amazing patience from mom and dad we were able to see the true charm of this little one.

Here is a sneak peek of a new family. First time parents Jennifer and Rick were so cute with Jack. It kind of makes me wonder how my husband and I will be with our little one.

I was so happy to get a phone call for newborn portraits from a super couple I photographed a couple of years ago. Brooke & Ryan are so excited to be parents. What a great name - Stella. It comes straight from the latin word for ’star’ and she certainly has the makings of a star.

This past weekend I had the special honour of photographing a family wedding. As I sorted through images of the day there were several special moments that stood out.
This one got me a little choked up as I remembered my own wedding day. One of my favourite moments was with my Grandma and this image of Brittany holding hands with her Grandma brings it all back for me…
